Tips on installed Shaw Tremont Vinyl Plank Flooring (Menards)
I had to call the manufacturer and talk to an actual installer to help us figure out how to do this faster! These planks are quite fickle but if you follow the tip in here it won’t be as bad.
Two things I didn’t say in the video:
1.) When trying to get the short edges to lock, you also use your mallet to tap on the other end of the plank you’re installing if just using your hands isn’t enough.
2.) With all the manipulation of the existing plank to my right in the video, it’s a good idea to start tapping on the existing board to make sure it is still laying flat and then move onto the new plank.
